Develop Phase - Media Components
Hello everyone, i hope that you are doing great. This time I am going to share with you some information about the Develop Phase and Media Components. Develop Phase includes producing the media components such as text, graphics, animations, audio and video. In this stage we put all theory into practice. We know that multimedia apps are important in attracting students' attention, so as a future teacher i would like to use multimedia in my classroom. We should teach our students how to use technology properly in a way to be useful for them. In this phase we should use the media components that are very important for the project. They enhance visual litracy, make presentation interesting and is adapted to different intelligences and learning styles.
Graphics: refers to images or any information in the computer that can be created with a computer program or imported from any existing file in computer, by using programs CarelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Point Shop etc
Animations: are methods in which pictures appear as moving images. They take time to be created and are used to convey and reinforce complex concepts and to add useful information.
Audio: these elements include recorded narration, music and sound effects that add realism, excitement and motivation to the program.
Digital video: is an electronic representation that can be recorded with a computer and saved as a computer file.
These elements that I have mentioned above attract students' attention in order for them to develop interest on a particular project or for a lesson to be more interactive and also help them on the comprehension of the lesson. Multimedia can stimulate more than one sense at a time and in doing so may be more attention-getting and attention-holding. Using multimedia in classroom or projects help us as teachers engage students, interact with them and provide valuable learning.
Let me know your opinions and good luck on the presentations of the project wish you a great week 😊
